About
After graduating from the INSA institute in Lyon, France with a Master in Electrical Engineering, Olivier left France for the United States and enjoyed a successful career as a project manager for Fortune 500 companies.
What once was a hobby turned into a passion, and in a move that shocked friends and family, Olivier decided to pursue photography full time.
Olivier has been shooting weddings for 5 years, and considers it an honor to be asked to document such a special moment
in a couple’s life. He has always been a keen observer of people’s behavior and relationships, so weddings were a natural direction for him. While a minimum of directions is needed to set up the formal group shots, the rest of the day is shot in a truly photojournalistic style with subjects completely unaware of the camera. Olivier strives to capture and tell the story of the day through images. Images that will define the day, the place and the people.
The culmination of formal study and international experience show not only in his portfolio, but in the way he handles himself on the job; easily adapting to any situation, staying subtle and focused on the task at hand.
To continuously expand his artistic horizons, Olivier actively participates in forums conversations on topics such as art, style, and techniques and likes to tag along with fellow local photographers on wedding assignments. He frequently draws new inspirations and insight from them, advancing his skills and delivering stunning images.
When not behind the camera, Olivier spends time with his wife and three children. He also enjoys swimming, gardening and fixing his house.
